Pushing the g-6 around the outside of a star. The paddle on the side is supposed to help push the lower layer away and I suppose it does. The offest handles do keep your hand away from the fabric but maybe that isn't a good thing. I prefer the way my hand is steadied by resting on the fabric with the other scissors.
